Hi.

We slept when we were tired and if we woke the other one woke too so one was not alone. Often a man wished to be alone and a girl wished to be alone too and if they love each other they are jealous of that in each other, but I can truly say we never felt that. We could feel alone when we were together, alone against the others.

So I was looking at this canvas, and I pulled the sheet off of it and just stared at this immense white surface, and realized, this is it. I can do anything. The possibilities are limitless. I am the beginning and the end of it. And I wondered what the first line would be, and how it would move and what color and what shape. And I felt absolutely bloody terrified.
